A standard straight cane has the handle directly above the shaft, which can place the wrist at an awkward angle and concentrate pressure on the palm. An offset cane's forward-positioned handle aligns the user's weight over the shaft more naturally, reducing wrist and hand fatigue and providing more stable support — making it the preferred choice for most daily users.

The cane features a push-button height adjustment mechanism. Press the button on the shaft, slide to the desired height, and release — the button will lock the cane in place. The correct height is when your elbow is slightly bent (about 15–20 degrees) while holding the cane with your arm at your side.
