Do you deliver to West Vancouver, and how long does it take?
Yes, and usually the same day. Do mention the approach when you call — a long private driveway, a gate code, or a steep pitch changes how we load and who we send. Call 604-240-2450 at any hour and we will give you a realistic window.
Can you put a hospital bed in a living room or a den?
Yes, and it is what we do most often here. The bed comes apart to get through a standard doorway. The things to check are floor space beside the bed for a lift or a commode, a power outlet on the right side, and how far it is to a toilet. Send us a photo of the room and we will tell you whether it works before anything is ordered.
What do I need besides the bed?
For most ground-floor setups: a pressure-relieving mattress if someone will be in bed for long stretches, a commode if the bathroom is on another floor, an overbed table so meals and medication are within reach, and a transfer lift if the person cannot bear weight. You do not have to buy it all at once — start with the bed and add as you find out what is actually needed.
Can you get equipment up a steep driveway in the British Properties?
Yes. Long, steep driveways are normal in Chartwell, Whitby Estates and the upper British Properties, and we plan for them. What we ask is that you tell us in advance rather than at the door, so we bring the right number of people.
Do you serve Horseshoe Bay, Caulfeild and Lions Bay?
Yes — Ambleside, Dundarave, Caulfeild, Cypress Park, Horseshoe Bay, Whytecliff and the British Properties, plus Lions Bay up the Sea to Sky. Lions Bay is the furthest point on this run, so call early in the day if it is urgent.
Does MSP cover medical equipment rental in BC?
MSP generally does not fund mobility or home medical equipment. Funding typically comes through Ministry programs (BCEA/PWD), extended health plans, ICBC or WorkSafeBC depending on your situation. Ministry funding usually requires a prescription and pre-approval before purchase. We can help with the documentation and quotes those applications require.
Can I pay for equipment over time?
Yes. We offer in-house financing at 0% interest with no credit check, split over 3, 6 or 12 months with a 10% deposit. You can work out the payments on our payment calculator.
