Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the difference between a power recliner and a manual recliner?
A power recliner uses a quiet electric motor to adjust your recline angle at the touch of a button, giving you precise, effortless control without any pushing or pulling. The La-Z-Boy Liam's power mechanism lets you stop at any angle — something a manual recliner cannot do.
2. What is the weight capacity of the La-Z-Boy Liam?
The La-Z-Boy Liam (Model 3BL-786) is built on a heavy-duty frame designed for everyday durability. For the exact weight capacity for this specific configuration, please contact us and we’ll confirm the spec with the manufacturer.
3. How much wall clearance does the Liam Power Recliner need?
La-Z-Boy power recliners are designed with wall-proximity recline in mind, typically requiring as little as a few inches from the wall. Contact us for the exact wall clearance spec for the 3BL-786 configuration.
4. Can I customize the fabric or colour of the La-Z-Boy Liam?
Yes — La-Z-Boy offers a wide range of fabric and leather options for the Liam. Visit our showroom to browse available swatches and choose the finish that best suits your home.
5. What happens if the power goes out — can I still use the recliner?
Most La-Z-Boy power recliners include a battery backup so you can return the chair to the upright position even during a power outage. We recommend confirming this feature for your specific order at time of purchase.
6. Is the La-Z-Boy Liam available with a heat and massage option?
Certain La-Z-Boy Liam configurations can be upgraded with heat and massage features. Ask our team in-store or online about available upgrade options for this model.
7. What warranty does the La-Z-Boy Liam come with?
La-Z-Boy backs its products with a limited lifetime warranty on the frame and mechanism, plus additional coverage on the motor and electrical components. Full warranty details are available upon request.
8. How long does delivery take for the La-Z-Boy Liam in Metro Vancouver?
Delivery timelines vary depending on stock availability and your location. Must offers local delivery across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley — contact us for current lead times and scheduling.
9. Can I try the La-Z-Boy Liam before buying?
Absolutely. Visit the Must showroom to experience the Liam Power Recliner in person. Our team is on hand to help you find the right fit, fabric, and configuration for your space.
