Drive Medical Deluxe, Trigger Release Folding Walker Drive Medical 10225 Trigger Release Folding Walker, Junior | Adjustable 25-32 in Handle Height, 350 lb Capacity, Contoured Grips
Hurry up, only 8 items left in stock.
A folding walker sized for younger users and shorter adults. The handles adjust from 25" to 32", a range standard adult walkers do not reach, so the user can stand upright instead of hunching over a frame that is too tall for them.
The trigger release is the reason to choose this model over a basic folding walker. Squeeze the trigger under either handgrip and that side folds — no reaching down, no pressing a button on the frame, no letting go of the walker to collapse it. For anyone with arthritis, weak grip or limited finger movement, this is often the difference between managing a walker independently and needing someone else to fold it.
Who it suits
Teenagers and children recovering from surgery or fracture, adults under roughly 5'2", and anyone whose current walker sits too high. If the handgrips of an adult walker come up above your wrist when you stand straight with arms relaxed, the frame is too tall.
Built to last
The frame is 1" anodized extruded aluminum — light enough to lift and reposition at 6 lb, rated to 350 lb. The trigger mechanism is a composite that resists the cracking older plastic releases were prone to. Drive backs it with a limited lifetime warranty on the frame.

Frequently Asked Questions – Drive Medical Junior Trigger Release Folding Walker
1. What is the weight capacity of this walker?
The Drive Medical 10225 junior folding walker is rated to 350 lb (159 kg), making it suitable for a wide range of users despite its compact junior size.2. What handle height range does it adjust to?
The handles adjust from 25" to 32" in 1" increments. This range is specifically designed for users who are shorter than roughly 5'2" and cannot comfortably use a standard adult walker.3. How does the trigger release work?
Squeeze the ergonomic trigger located under either handgrip to release and fold that side of the walker. You do not need to reach down to the frame or press any buttons at foot level — ideal for those with limited grip strength or arthritis.4. Who is this walker designed for?
It is designed for teenagers, children recovering from an injury, petite adults, and anyone whose standard adult walker sits too high. A good fit check: if the walker handgrips rise above your wrist when you stand with arms relaxed at your sides, the frame is too tall for you.5. How much does the walker weigh?
The frame weighs approximately 6 lb (2.7 kg), making it easy to lift, carry, and reposition throughout the day.6. What is the frame made of?
The frame is constructed from 1" anodized extruded aluminum, which provides a strong, corrosion-resistant, and lightweight structure. The trigger mechanism uses a durable composite material that resists cracking over time.7. Does it fold flat for transport or storage?
Yes. The trigger release system allows each side to fold independently, and the walker collapses flat for easy storage in a vehicle trunk, closet, or travel bag.8. What type of tips does it come with?
The walker comes with standard rubber tips on all four legs, providing grip on indoor flooring including hardwood, tile, and carpet.9. Does it come with a warranty?
Yes. Drive Medical backs the frame with a limited lifetime warranty. Please contact us for full warranty terms and claim support.10. Can I add a pouch or accessories?
Standard walker pouches and accessories that attach with hook-and-loop straps are compatible. Ask our Surrey showroom team for accessory recommendations suited to this frame size.11. Is this walker covered by BC PharmaCare or insurance?
Basic folding walkers may qualify for partial coverage under some extended health benefit plans and BC Assistive Devices Program (ADP) for eligible individuals. Coverage depends on your specific plan. We recommend checking with your insurer or care provider and asking us for any required product documentation.12. Can I try it before purchasing at your showroom?
Yes. Visit the Must showroom in Surrey and our team will fit and adjust the walker for you on the spot. We are happy to let you test the trigger release and confirm the height is correct before you leave.13. Do you offer local delivery?
Yes. We offer free same-day delivery across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley, including Surrey, Langley, Richmond, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Vancouver, Abbotsford, and surrounding communities.

Why the height range matters
Most folding walkers start around 32" at the handgrip. This one starts at 25", which covers users a standard adult walker cannot fit. A walker set too high forces the shoulders up and the elbows out, which tires the arms quickly and makes the frame harder to control.
To check the fit: stand upright inside the walker with your arms hanging relaxed. The handgrips should sit level with the crease of your wrist. Your elbows should bend about 15 degrees when you hold them.
How the trigger release works
A trigger sits under each handgrip. Squeezing it folds that side of the walker while your hand stays on the grip. Standard folding walkers use a button or catch on the frame, which means bending down and releasing your support to fold them.
This matters most for users with arthritis, reduced grip strength or limited finger dexterity, and for anyone who folds the walker often to get in and out of a car.
Fitting in the showroom
Bring the user in and we will set the handle height and check the fit before you leave. Free same-day delivery and installation is available across the Lower Mainland.
