Mobility Scooter Rental Surrey | Try It First, Same-Hour Pickup

Scooter hire — Surrey, BC

Mobility scooter rental in Surrey, from the showroom on 80 Ave

Our showroom is in Surrey, which changes what a hire looks like here. You can come and sit on two or three scooters before you commit to a week on one, collect it the same hour rather than waiting for a delivery slot, and if something goes wrong mid-hire you are ten minutes from the people who can fix it — not waiting on a truck from another city.

Short-term hire across Surrey

Everything below is available by the day, the week or the month.

Ten minutes sitting on one beats a week regretting it

Scooters differ more than the photos suggest. Seat width, how far you have to reach for the tiller, how tightly it turns in a hallway, and how easy the throttle is on arthritic hands all vary between models — and none of that is obvious from a spec sheet. Because the showroom is here in Surrey, you can sit on a few, try the controls, and take the one that actually suits. It is the single biggest advantage of hiring locally rather than ordering a scooter to your door sight unseen.

Collect it, or we deliver

Surrey customers get both options. Most people who can drive choose to collect.

1

Call with your dates

Tell us the dates and the rider's weight so we can hold something suitable.

2

Come and try them

Sit on two or three at the showroom on 80 Ave. It takes ten minutes and it settles the choice.

3

Take it or have it delivered

A folding chair goes straight in the car. A full-size scooter we deliver — usually the same day, anywhere in Surrey.

4

Support while you have it

Battery, tyre or adjustment trouble mid-hire is a short drive, not a scheduling problem.

When hiring is the wrong answer

We would rather say it at the start than at the end of a long rental.

Hire it

  • A recovery, a visit or a one-off event
  • Testing whether a scooter suits at all before buying one
  • Collect from the Surrey showroom the same hour
  • Servicing and battery support close by while you have it

Buy instead

  • Daily use with no end date in sight
  • Seat and tiller set for one person, not a fleet average
  • 0% in-house financing, no credit check
  • Batteries, parts and servicing afterwards

Frequently asked questions

Trying, collecting, distances and support.

Can I try a scooter before I hire it?

Yes, and we would encourage it. The showroom is at 12987 80 Ave and there are scooters on the floor to sit on. Ten minutes trying the seat, the tiller reach and the turning circle is worth more than any amount of reading, particularly if hands or shoulders are stiff.

Can I collect it myself instead of waiting for delivery?

Folding equipment, yes — a folding power chair, rollator or wheelchair goes straight in a car. A full-size four-wheel scooter does not fold and is too heavy to lift, so we deliver those. If collecting matters to you, say so and we will steer you toward what actually fits in your vehicle.

How far will a scooter get me around Surrey?

Further than most people expect for local errands, but Surrey is large and spread out — Guildford to Cloverdale is not a scooter trip. A hire works well for getting around one neighbourhood, a mall, a park or a community centre. If the plan involves crossing the city, talk to us first rather than assuming the range figure covers it.

What happens if something goes wrong during the hire?

Call us. Because our workshop is in Surrey, a flat tyre, a battery not holding charge or a seat that needs adjusting is a short drive rather than a scheduling exercise. That is the practical reason to hire locally rather than from an online rental service.

Can I hire for a month or longer?

Yes. Monthly hire is common during a long recovery or while funding is being approved. If an extension takes the total past roughly six months, we will tell you plainly that buying has become the cheaper route.

Does MSP cover a scooter rental in BC?

MSP generally does not fund mobility equipment. Funding typically comes through Ministry programs (BCEA/PWD), extended health plans, ICBC or WorkSafeBC depending on your situation. Ministry funding usually requires a prescription and pre-approval before purchase. We can help with the documentation and quotes those applications require.
